I am proud to say that I met you in the 80's when you visited my secondary school, Thomas Cowley's in Donington, Lincolnshire..
My dad also came to your house in Spalding and fitted your bathroom and central heating..

 Geoff,

We have decided that your country needs you. It is in a mess and you are a true peoples champion. Some straight talking strongman action is needed. Someone with the drive and detremination that we've seen from you in the past with not only the ability to show real grit but also a more human side that we've seen through your love of Budgerigars. Please don't think I'm mocking, I really belive that this country needs someone who we belive in and someone they can trust. Because you command these things and you've never asked us, will you run for Prime Minister?

We met at the Arche service station 90 miles from Calais on Saturday. You were right - my foot was busted - my metatarsal - now in plaster for several weeks.

Sorry to hear that your foot is broken, and sorry that I have taken too ling to reply.
You must have been in alot of pain at the end of the journey.
I hope that all is well now. I return to France at end of the month for another break, I need it!!

I still think u are still my hero.. as we used taken the picture for newpaper when i was 10 year old in st albans in 1990 for deaf school. (i still keep the photo by the way)

I am sat watching the older days of strongest man, which you won twice, I remember the days when I would get a clip round the ear at RAF wittering when u was a policeman, glad I got the clips then and not when you were the strongest man,

Glad I got to see you at the world show last year, looking forward to getting down again this year. I love to see all the folk in the budgie ring but it makes it really worth while to meet yourself there, makes the 8hrs travel well worth it.

You have been a lifes inspiration to work hard in the gym and be strong. Unfortunatly I lack height which is a real handicap when it comes to strong man events, as a kid watching re runs of your success in 83&85 gave me an ambition. Just a hobby really but i love the sense of brute and power!
